Coming Spring 2026
A tea bar in historic downtown Renton
Come visit our downtown Renton tea bar at the corner of S 4th St and Williams Ave S.
Sip tea, play games, do crafts, shop modern and vintage teaware, join us for late night events, or grab a book off the shelf and cozy up while watching the rain.
It all began with these teapots. They were part of my family long before they came into my care, well-worn, darkened by time, and passed down through generations alongside books, letters, and a deep love of learning. Like many family objects, their exact origins have softened over the years, shaped as much by memory and imagination as by history. We believe they were brought by my great-great-great grandfather from Armenia in the early 1900s along with his scientific writings.
They were kept by my grandfather, who believed that objects meant for gathering - teapots, books, art - carry the spirit of the people who use them. When he passed, these teapots became a quiet link between past and present.
As a writer and lifelong lover of science, I’ve continued that tradition. Guests are welcome to choose a book from my personal library, now intertwined with my grandfather’s, and spend time with ideas, stories, and one another.
Here, tea is meant to be shared slowly.
Stories grow and evolve as they are written through time.
And curiosity is always welcome.
Our Story
Calling artists & makers
Whatever you’re building, we’re here to help you take the first step with confidence.
Musicians, performers, visual artists, and makers: Renton’s newest late-night spot wants you. We’re booking eclectic late-night events in downtown Renton and inviting creators to join the fun. Hang and sell your art on our walls, showcase ceramics (especially teaware!) for sale, or offer your handmade goods on our retail shelves. South Side businesses: we’re seeking local wholesale partners to carry your products in-store.
If you’re interested, please get in touch using our contact form to inquire about late-night events, retail opportunities, or wholesale distribution. Bring your voice, your vision, and your ceramics - we’ll supply the space, the crowd, and the tea.
-
Looking for a venue? We’ll host your band or show free and help with advertising. For the time being we are limiting capacity, but hope to expand in the future. Be one of our first performers and use the momentum of our opening buzz to increase your visibility!
-
Do you want to hang your art for sale in our lounge space? Help us fill up the walls! Are you a ceramics artist or potter? We’d love to retail your unique tea-ware and mugs on our shelves. Reach a wider audience than the farmers market, without the need to brave any Washington weather.

We are seeking wholesalers to supply local products that vibe well with our shop. Whether you’re a beekeeper, soap maker, tincture tinkerer or anything else - contact us and pitch your product for our shelves. Strong preference for brands with roots South of Seattle.
